I'm not worried. He's just homesick. Everyone goes through it at some point when they leave home for the first time - whether it's an out of town job or a kid going off to college for the first time. Being in a different country also makes it that much more difficult. By next year, he'll be use to it and he'll be even stronger. If not, sneak the girlfriend and kid over the border.
Cocaine dealer allegedly tacks on $25 fuel surcharge to meet rising gas prices

PORTAGE, Ind. — A man facing drug charges allegedly told a police informant he’s charging customers an extra $25 because high gas prices have boosted his delivery expenses.
According to Porter County court records, 18-year-old Anthony Salinas of Hammond told a confidential source for the county’s drug task force in June that with rising gas prices, he had to add the extra charge to the $215 he allegedly was charging for 7.2 grams of cocaine.
Salinas then raised the price to $250 for what turned out to be 7.5 grams that he delivered in Portage on June 26, records state. Salinas promised the price would drop to $230 on the next deal, according to records.
Porter County authorities charged Salinas with two counts of dealing cocaine on Sept. 8, but he was no longer in the Porter County Jail as of Wednesday. If convicted, he could face up to 100 years in prison.

I do NOT want to turn this into the other crap other band members have taken also. Even though I disagree with the unfairness in those comments towards Journey members, I believe in 100% free speech, so I am not trying to shut others down. I believe in freedom and creativity, which I believe you do too as a record company executive.

Tito: I was unofficially given one warning nearly a month ago on the board. I also feel I wasn't attacking Soto when I got suspended/put on holiday. I think Andrew was looking for a reason to suspend me or wouldn't have done it if Soto didn't pop in (Mr. Thickskin). I never had an issue with Soto technically, my comments were more directed to his unrealistic fans on the site. However, some backdoor shots lately along with leaking things back in the day have made him fair game although I never address him personally. As far as talent goes - to each their own. I personally think he's a dime a dozen.

We are the ones who can handle the differing opinions. We have never sent a PM to Drew about board content/opinions about people/bands,etc. I'm the one suspended. I have never called Soto or any of his fans a bad name or got personal. I only provided constructive criticism.
I have no problem and agree with you about liking something that isn't popular. However, it is fair game for the sh-t talkers. You don't see us running around like maniacs about 7th Heaven.

I got slapped
Dear Andrew J. McNeice - MelodicRock.com Founder,
Why did you ban from your message board? I have done nothing wrong, honestly. All I said is Jefferey Soto's song and video, "21st Century" sounded and looked like Lenny Kravitz. Even his die hard fans halfway agreed with that and said there is nothing wrong with that. Then I asked, "What will he be next year?" This is in regards to his diverse talent and him always evolving. Mostly, I was just shit talking with his fans. That's what fans do whether it be music or sports. There was no hatred towards Soto in my comments.
You're a good and loyal person for protecting your friend, Jefferey, but there is no harm in my comments. I will say though, even though he saids he is thick skinned, I have to disagree with that. He should stay out of the fray and let the fans handle it. He does take it too personally. Some have brought up that Cain and Schon have gotten it a lot worse than Soto. Although that is true, my intent is not to hinder free speech and people's opinions i.e. SteveW's disrepectful comments of Cain (that's for you SteveW :) ).
Finally, I kindly petition for you to reinstate me to your message board. I can't guarantee I will not mess around with Soto's FANS in the future but that's the fun of it. I know the Debs and Behshad like it. No one takes it personal. The only time I may address Jeff Soto is when he takes backdoor shots at the band. I will promise to lay off the caveman stuff (even though that was funny for those who got it) as a compromise. What do you say?
